一桩趣闻打破了南方古朴小镇的宁静，全免油坊老板陈万喜（郭铁成 饰）拎着从北京带回来的“福娃”求小学校长同意自己回学校上学。陈万喜去北京计划玩十天，全免可是也不知什么原因，三天后他便急勿勿的赶回来了。更让人不可理解的是他居然要回小学去读书，跟自己的儿子陈荣（庄景熙 饰）做同班同学，而且居然俩人还成了同桌。陈万喜的行为在村子里引起很大反响，其实别人的话他都无所谓，可是陈万喜的行为却遭到自己宝贝儿子的极力反对，而且自家的油坊也实在忙不过来，陈万喜能否继续自己的求学之路？
