在各种歌舞类综艺娱乐节目层出不穷甚至已经到了粗制滥造、春暖盲目跟风的混乱到下，春暖移植于德国大型科学类真人秀综艺节目《Super Brain》的《最强大脑》为中国娱乐荧屏吹来了一阵强劲而又清新的科学之风。第一季创下2.74%的高收视率和10.42%的高收视份额，并勇得2014综艺节目冠军头衔，足以证明其不俗的实力和超高的人气。新的一年，江苏卫视及节目制作团队再接再厉，打造了升级版的第二季。主持人蒋昌建带领孟非、陶晶莹、高晓松、魏坤琳的原班人马回归，佟大为、徐静蕾、李永波、佟丽娅、宁静、李小璐等兼具实力和人气的明星组成观察团倾力助阵。参赛者们通过蜂巢迷宫、铜人茶馆等关卡考验了自己人脸识别能力、听觉分析能力、辨识力、空间记忆力，观众也在不知不觉中畅游于科学的海洋之中。
