由余咏珊旗下制作公司「好好制作」、快猫何哲图创立的音乐品牌「星演国际」，快猫与香港开电视联手打造的选秀真人秀《就是青春》，节目筹备了接近一年，在全球各地招募参加者，最后从多间跳舞学校、唱歌学校，大学的舞蹈学会拣选有潜质的参赛者，并从一千三百人面试当中挑选最后的18位参赛。为了隆重其事，节目组更用上过百万元于面积七千呎的厂房打造「青春窦」，园地设有有厨房、饭厅、休憇的地方、有打机的地方、排舞室、表演场地和做功课的地方等。一众学员会在内接受不同的任务、游戏、指导，形式有别于近年香港的选秀节目。由歌手导师提供专业指导，助他们踏上《就是青春》的舞台！比赛口号为「为梦想全力以赴，以努力留下青春记号」。
