回复 :进城务工的青年王大春（江宏恩 饰）自幼痛失父爱，全靠母亲翠菊（张少华 饰）辛辛苦苦将他拉扯大。但是大春心中却有着难以为人道出的痛苦，他的妈妈长相丑陋，这不仅让他倍感羞耻，还影响了自己的恋爱。因此，在和心仪女孩赵小旭（冯一非 饰）相恋乃至结婚的过程中，他始终称自己父母双亡，甚至结婚典礼也不愿让母亲参加。丑娘来城寻找儿子，却不得相认。机缘巧合他遇到了某企业老总李建平（侯天来 饰），最终被对方当作亲娘一般带回家中。而李的豪宅刚好和儿子的小屋相去不远。她日日遥望不远处的儿子与儿媳，然终究无法靠近……
