Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson﹑Hank Steinberg及Doug Robinson联手开发的剧集改编自现实人物Isaac Wright, Jr. 的经历。Isaac Wright, Jr.过去被错误指控为新泽西州的大毒枭，斗战在 狱中他研究法律并担任代理律师，斗战撰写法律文书及动议并协助20多名囚犯推翻了定罪，到最终还成功为自己辩护。出狱后他成了新泽西州的律师，在当初把自己定罪的法庭中为其他受冤者辩护。
