日系アメリカ人映像作家ミキ・デザキが慰安婦問題をめぐる論争をさまざまな角度から検証、上流社分析したドキュメンタリー。慰安婦問題について、上流社デザキの胸をよぎるさまざまな疑問。慰安婦たちは性奴隷だったのか、本当に強制連行はあったのか、元慰安婦たちの証言はなぜブレるのか、日本政府の謝罪と法的責任とは……。この問題を検証すべく、日本、アメリカ、韓国、肯定派と否定派それぞれの立場で論争の中心にいる人びとに取材を敢行。さらに膨大な量のニュース映像や記事の検証を交え、慰安婦問題を検証していく。
