三十年代香港塘西，熊猫厉鬼骚扰妓院欢得楼，熊猫唐家少爷展鹏（林文龙 饰）和丫鬟如珠（文颂娴 饰）被厉鬼冷翠（陈炜 饰）杀死，两人在灵界发生一系列遭遇。与此同时，展鹏生前温婉端庄的未婚妻张丽群（杨恭如 饰）一边在一直尝试与展鹏接触，上演一幕幕人鬼情未了，一边被展鹏生前好友二两（尹天照 饰 ）暗恋且照顾着。唐家养子麦汉龙狼子野心，意欲图谋唐家家产、霸占丽群，后阴谋毕露，唐老太受害，他得逞进占整个唐家。丽群为与展鹏再续前缘而多次试图自尽，展鹏面对两女的珍贵情义，顿时百感交集，不知如何是好。麦汉龙知道展鹏及如珠的鬼魂后，试图将他们消灭。最后在各人的努力下，麦汉龙终于大势已去，但他自杀后化成了九世轮回的厉鬼，控制丽群肉身，并向众人重新开始报复.....
