回复 :闹市的一户普通民宅，佐藤夫妇居住于此。丈夫克彦（役所広司 饰）是一名尽职和善的电视台音效师，全职太太纯子（風吹ジュン 饰）则精心打理家中的一切。平凡的外表下，纯子有着一项迥异于常人的能力，她可以同另一个世界的众生取得联系，甚至看到他们的身影。但是在这个所谓科学的现代化社会，心灵沟通似乎永远无法得到举世的承认。虽然偶尔有人登门求助，不过纯子还是希望能造福更多的人。与此同时，一名小女孩被人拐骗，女孩阴差阳错藏进克彦的工作箱，来到佐藤夫妇家。面对这一意外事件，纯子请求丈夫暂时将女孩留在家中，让她有机会用“超能力”帮助警方找到女孩，谁知这一过程中女孩竟意外死亡。天堂与地狱，一念之差，万劫不复……
回复 :塔尼雅、索尼雅、费嘉和斯切潘这四个青年，是同学也是好朋友，他们一起从中学毕业出来，都在判处着自己的前途，塔尼雅为了想混一张文凭，决定进大学，费嘉打算半工半读来继续深造。索尼雅却认为不如先去工作，斯切潘同意她的主张，可是要离开列宁格勒，因为他既不说祝愿塔尼雅，又不愿破坏费嘉的幸福，而索尼雅对他的一番心意，他也无动于衷，于是就毅然的乘上了开往诺沃西比尔斯克的列车，离开朋友们走了。塔尼雅不久就和费嘉结了婚，可是这个怀有强烈虚荣心的姑娘，丝毫也不珍惜费嘉的优良品质和对她的神情，为了满足她个人的欲望，竟又和音乐家罗申发生了不正当的交往，罗申虽然年老，但他有钱，有地位，有名望，这正是塔尼雅盼望着的东西，为了获得这些东西，对费嘉的劝阻和痛苦，她一点也不放在心上。索尼雅进炼钢厂当了化验员。由于一直念念不忘的在想着斯切潘，她宁愿离开列宁格勒这个大都市，要求组织上把她调到了那个边远的小城诺沃西比尔斯克去工作。在诺沃西比尔斯克的斯切潘，白天在炼钢厂工作，晚上在夜大学读书，他的坚强性格和不懈的努力，使他在工作上获得了成就，被提升为车间主任，并且入了党，列宁格勒的冶金学院决定邀请他去做新工作方法的报告，当塔尼雅从报纸上看到了这条消息之后，对这个本来不中意的老同学，却发生了极大的兴趣，在她看来是甩掉罗申另谋发展的机会到了，于是斯切潘一到列宁格勒，她就毫不放松的施展出了惯用的手段，企图把这个新对象猎取到手。可是这一次她却失败了，费嘉和斯切潘这两个好朋友，虽然为她发生了一次短暂的误会，但终于真相大白，斯切潘也从此看清了她的真面目，并因而体会到了那个长期以来专心一意热爱着他的索尼雅的感情，回到诺沃西比尔斯克之后，就和索尼雅结了婚。不幸的费嘉受了塔尼雅的刺激，生了一场严重的心脏病，但来自异地的友情和帮助，使他得到了极大的温暖，病愈之后，他也踏上了开往诺沃西比尔斯克的列车。在那里等待着费嘉的不仅是朋友，还有工作。只有塔尼雅，她想要得到一切，结果却什么也没有得到，她开始感觉了自己的孤立，这能怨谁呢？是她自己决定了自己的命运。
回复 :This 1992 Japanese film tells the story of a scientist who sets out to create the new "super Adam and Eve", humans who cannot be controlled by their emotions. Of course, the end result it not exactly what the good doctor expects.comments from imdb:This modern tale of an attempt to build a creature is one of the best "horror" films ever made, even if its not a horror film but something else entirely. Certainly its on my short list of all time great films.This film was introduced to me by someone who told me "I have this film that probably one of the best films you'll ever see. It will move you and touch you and make you think, but if I told you what it is and told you how its done you will think its the stupidest thing on the face of it and you won't watch it." Intrigued I asked what did he mean, and he said, "Well its a Frankenstein story, with a very goofy sort of edge, but which uses it to its advantage." My ears perked up, and I being a trusting soul took the tape and watched it. I was blown away.The plot concerns a mad scientist attempting to make a new Adam and Eve in the wake of a suicidal plague that is ravaging the world. Locked up in his lab his experiments go differently then either he or we expect. Some of it is silly (The bolts in the neck, the wrestling moves...), all of it is touching and thought provoking.I can not recommend this movie enough. If you are willing to take the film on its terms and allow it to tell its story then I urge you to seek this film out and see it. This is an undiscovered gem that will stay with you forever.15 out of 10 and then some. 10/10Also known as "The Last Frankenstein", this is an extraordinary, impeccably produced horror film. Director Takeshi Kawamura uses Mary Shelley's novel as a mere launching pad for an exploration of subjects as diverse and fascinating as the nature of love, desire, suicide, mass hypnosis, sex, alienation and jealousy.And though the film is dense with subtext, it is also stunningly photographed and rich in atmosphere and detail. The performances are all amazing and Kawamura's sensitive handling of the strange, delicate relationships between the characters results in an emotionally charged, angst-ridden tragedy.The scenes of the confused, troubled monster hurtling through a fog-shrouded forest at night are memorable and striking, as is a brilliant home movie-style montage of the film's more curious characters enjoying a precious afternoon at the beach. Kawamura creates resonating visual poetry of horror and sadness barely sighted since Todd Browning's classic "Freaks".Intelligent, emotional, tragic and real, this is an absolute gem. 9/10
