这部由中影投拍、小狐古榕执导的影片以奥运建设热潮为背景，小狐讲述了归国建筑设计师邓江涛（苏可饰）因为一次偶然的事故，从事业巅峰跌到低谷，又在萍水相逢的女司机黄若兰（姚笛饰）的帮助下从头再来，东山再起的故事。红楼选秀中，姚笛展现了大家闺秀的贵气，但在《从头再来》中却扮演草根出身的出租车司机，姚笛坦承角色转变很大：“要一下子从宝钗转换成出租车司机，难度比较大，需要把以前宝钗的‘范儿’全扔掉。”姚笛表示，特别喜欢这种和自己反差大的角色，“反差越大，越能磨炼演技。”影片《从头再来》将于11月上映。
