The show stars four kids facing off against the dark forces lurking in the shadows of their sleepy town of Auburn Pines. To overcome obstacles and achieve their goals, they must learn to unlock and master the magical powers of super-normal costumes-with each costume comes a new set of transformations and powers.
回复 :内向老实的高中生天童纯（小野贤章 配音）自幼生长在美丽舒适的京都，某天他突然遭到一个恶鬼的袭击，仓皇之中跑入一座古寺，得到了僧人源云（中村狮童 配音）的救助。俄而竟被源云带到了久远的平安时代。原来平安时代恶鬼横行，与人类展开了连番的战争。为了消灭饿鬼，源云穿越时空带来了被称作救世主的天童。在最新的战斗中，天童为救助伙伴无意中唤醒了号称能摧毁恶鬼们的八岐大蛇。偶然的机会，他和大蛇救下了被贵族追杀的恶鬼水叶，由此发现了恶鬼的真面目，而他作为救世主的信念也遭到了动摇……本片根据高田崇史的同名原著改编。
