虽然该真人秀4月26号才开播，幽灵但是前期海选和制作已经开始，幽灵短短的预告片吊足了观众的胃口，《The Voice》的规则与我们熟悉的传统的歌唱类真人秀《美国偶像》和《The X Factor》存在明显的区别。四位大腕明星教练：流行天后Christina Aguilera，黑人嘻哈歌手Cee-Lo Green，摇滚乐队魔力红（Maroon 5）的主唱Adam Levine以及乡村歌手Blake Shelton将为美国找到下一个超赞声音。其实更吸引我们的还是独树一帜的比赛规则：海选阶段教练将背对选手，凭借声音遴选自己的队员（相中后按键自己的椅子转过来，如果多位教练都转了过来，则由队员选教练），经过“调教”之后，再经过各种环节一角雌雄。
