影片讲述在荒芜沙漠之中，山河实力就是一切。赏金猎人叶锋接受了何四爷替子报仇的任务，山河杀死凶手并抢走一袋黄金。不料这袋黄金却是凶手私自从沙漠霸主三哥的赌坊里黑来的。三哥暴怒之下派出手下赵贺等人追杀叶锋，直至九娘所开的“闲事莫管”汽车旅馆。在此期间，叶锋与三哥手下刘胜妍互生爱意。小小旅馆里汇集了闻金而动的各方势力，而当所有人都因一场大沙暴被困汽车旅馆时，黄金突然失踪，表面的平静立刻被打破，众人瞬间陷入猜疑和血拼。
