Angered and disappointed with her resistance to his advances, he uses a branding device to mark her shoulder as his property. Feeling violated, Edith shoots him in the shoulder and leaves. 回复 :川端康成の同名小説を映画化した成瀬巳喜男監督作品。バレエ教室を営む中年女性が愛情の冷めた夫と別れて新たな人生を歩もうとするが、結局もとの生活に戻るまでを香気豊かに描く。これがデビューの岡田茉莉子が美しく、早くも大女優の風格を備えている。
