本片讲述专为有钱人打官司的律师包赢，超美在一次机缘巧合下吃了“诚实蛋糕”后无法说谎，超美这使得常常通过说谎和颠倒是非来打赢官司的包赢，不仅差点失去重要官司，还面临与疼爱的儿子分离的命运。 心存善良本质，身为父亲的包赢在面对高新报酬的渣男父亲王总离婚案的时候，王总展露出来不配做父亲的种种，王总孩子的未来就点燃了包赢心中的正义感。最终，包赢让王总的儿子说出了自己只想和妈妈在一起的愿望，完成了作为一个年轻父亲的自我救赎与内心的解脱。
