明朝嘉靖年间，被爱倭寇年年侵犯我东南沿海边境，被爱烧杀抢掠，无恶不作，兵部二品侍郎朱纨（刘永 饰）奉旨领命前浙江平倭，并委派内务府总管太监王顺随行监督。不想，就在朱纨赴任途中，就遭倭人埋伏，幸得定海镇台周将军（杨子 饰）率兵相救才得以平安上任。时过不久，周将军在护送畲寨土司进贡的千年灵芝时，再遭倭人伏击，恰遇盐贩曹顶（吴奇隆 饰）出手相救，才使得逃过一劫，朱纨得知后便决意将曹顶收入军中，联合抗倭。在曹顶为将之后与倭寇厮杀时，结识了女扮男装的畲寨郡主阿珠（黄奕 饰）。原来土司伤重不治，临终前吩咐阿珠助曹顶共同抗倭。于是众人共同施计，欲擒倭首博多津(元华 饰)，而只有王公公另有盘算、迟疑不决。曹、珠、周依计而行，通过数场与敌死战，终于诱出了匪首，原来在博多津的幕后还隐藏着另一个博多津（尹子维 饰）操纵着全局……
