该剧改编自现役医生、密探作家知念实希人的小说《祈祷的病历》系列，密探是一部“暖心悬疑剧”，玉森裕太饰演的主人公诹访野良太会解读病历，识破患者的秘密和谎言，他有着能读懂别人心事的特技，真心为各种问题患者服务。

回复 :一次偶然中，儿科实习医生有川四季（菅野美穗 饰）结识了摄影师安昙俊介（藤木直人 饰），之后，因为工作原因，两人又再度在四季工作的医院中重逢，俊介的善良的开朗深深的吸引着四季，可惜俊介已有了即将准备结婚的女友凉子（黑谷友香 饰），她只得将爱意深深的藏在心底。医生告诉俊介，他患上了一种名叫“贝赛特氏症”的疾病，有失明的危险，这也就意味着，俊介要放弃他挚爱的摄影事业，得知了这个消息，凉子向俊介提出了分手。同样知晓俊介病情的四季向俊介表白了，可是两人的感情却遭到了四季父亲的大力反对。为了不再拖累四季，俊介谎称自己决定回到凉子的身旁，此时已经怀孕的四季在悲伤和痛苦之中流产了。
