明月館是一間位於京都近郊的日式旅館，狼人有著美麗的湖景和傳統的日式風情，狼人但由於建築老舊又位處偏僻，經營狀況岌岌可危。台北一家建設公司老闆Charles（楊烈 飾）決定買下明月館，派兒子Jacky（王柏傑 飾）前往監督旅館的翻修工程，但Jacky一心只想藉機和住在京都的前女友尚子復合，順便找機會暗中把這間賠錢的旅館賣掉。抵達明月館後，老闆娘美津子（余貴美子 飾）對Jacky很親切，但獨生女梨花（田中麗奈 飾）和他很不對盤，旅館中還有也來自台灣的哈日宅男柏豪（姚淳耀 飾）來打工換宿。Jacky得知念念不忘的前女友要結婚了，為了讓她看到自己的成長而有回心轉意的機會，異想天開提出把明月館改裝成婚宴場所，替尚子舉辦夢想婚禮。此時Charles和柏豪的母親（呂雪鳳 飾）也來到日本，眾人聽到Jacky的提議後齊齊拍手叫好，只有梨花覺得事有蹊蹺。為了旅館轉型，他們必需和資深的木村老師學習日本傳統的「待客之道」（omotenashi），在這學習的路上，他們面臨什麼樣的人生轉變呢？
