回复 :偏远隔绝的日本山村，财主时任家的少爷大作（原田芳雄 饰）偷走村里所有住户的钟，将其埋在地下。从此，村中失去时间的概念，止步不前。多年之后，大作的堂弟舍吉（山崎努 饰）和堂妹惠子（新高けい子 饰）结婚，然而惠子的父亲当年为防止不伦之事而给女儿戴上了贞操带。婚后多年，舍吉夫妻因性事甚为苦恼，而舍吉也因没有子女而被村人嘲笑。某天，愤怒的舍吉忍无可忍，刺死了嘲笑他的大作。在此之后，夫妻二人选择逃亡，不过最终还是返回了村中。从此，舍吉便经常能够看到大作的鬼魂，并渐渐开始忘却周遭事物的名称，心性失常。在这个恍如孤岛的村落，怪诞的事情接连发生，从未停止……本片为先锋导演寺山修司遗作。
回复 :故事发生在南诏王阁罗凤重病，其孙异牟寻准备登基为王时期，阁罗凤之子凤伽异早逝，其子异牟寻聪慧能干，善于抚慰百姓，但因异牟寻年纪尚轻，内有众多大臣不愿归顺于他。只有阁罗凤之前俘虏的郑回一直感恩阁罗凤不杀之恩还予以重用，对异牟寻也处处关心照顾。阁罗凤临死前立南诏德化碑，表明叛唐出于不得已，愿与唐世代友好，异牟寻也早有此意，但是南诏当时还有很多大臣反对归顺大唐，两种主张、两派势力早已明争暗斗，故事就是在这样的背景下诞生的，势单力薄的南诏想归顺大唐，将归顺之意秘密送达并得到大唐的支持，一路上凶多吉少，杀机四伏······
