数百年前，水咲视频天庭部将帝释天（若本规夫 配音）谋反杀害天帝，水咲视频篡得大权。在此之后，他杀掉与之为敌的修罗王，并诛杀阿修罗一族。夜叉王（速水奖 配音）、龙王（山口胜平 配音）、迦楼罗王带着修罗一族唯一的子嗣阿修罗（伊仓一寿 配音）一路躲避天军的追赶，这一日终于来到善见城的脚下。根据九瞿的预言，最后一个斗星正在善见城中。方值此时，正是帝释天一年一度开放城池的日子，百姓歌舞升平，快乐非凡。夜叉王等人乔装打扮准备混入城中，而帝释天也谋划利用这个机会彻底铲除阿修罗一伙。宿命的对决即将展开，善见城迎来紧张而漫长的一夜……本片根据CLAMP的同名原著漫画改编，系该动画的OVA版。
