新一季中，国产莱特曼集团的经营似乎陷入最困难的时期，国产集团与FBI的长期合作宣告终止，卡尔·莱特曼博士（蒂姆·罗素 Tim Roth 饰）签约的新书迟迟未能完成，面临对簿公堂的窘境，而这位拥有极高才华的天才博士和家人、同事之间的关系也变得颇为复杂。他与女儿艾米莉（海莉·麦可法兰德 Hayley McFarland 饰）相互依存，女儿有时会反抗父亲的强势，扮演着母亲的角色；他和吉莉安·福斯特（凯利·威廉姆斯 Kelli Williams 饰）的关系暧昧不清，相互试探，又颇显紧张。与此同时，各种各样棘手案件纷至沓来，银行抢劫案、文物展览会盗窃案、矿井爆炸案、宗教团体事件……无一不对莱特曼提出最严峻和最危险的考验。
回复 :该剧是《特殊案件专案组TEN》的第二季。是由韩国OCN电视台放映的 由朱相昱、赵安、金尚浩、崔宇植领衔主演。该剧题材新颖，是描绘负责破案率不足10%的重大刑侦案件侦破组工作情形的正宗刑侦剧。第一季2011年11月18日每周五晚播出，第一季获得了韩国2012有线电视最佳节目首奖，也获得了很多的好评。于是有了第二季。第二季也是原班人马回归值得关注。
