司下Marie, 19, is attracted by easy money. Without really realizing it, she becomes involved in prostitution. She decides not to tell her friend, Vincent, a young, nonchalant, 21-year-old skater who owes everyone money and just can’t seem to grow up. The maelstrom of life seizes Marie and Vincent, caught up in a society where money, appearance and perpetual self-delusion are everything. Vincent’s mute, autistic brother, Mika, also gets caught in the trap.

回复 :律子(安藤聖)が美瑛に帰って来た。この間から、駅前の売店でソフトクリームを売っている。彼女の帰郷は瞬く間に町の人の知るところとなった。 律子は高校を卒業すると同時に女優を目指し上京した。いっときはテレビに出たものの、ほぼ鳴かず飛ばず。ついには男にも捨てられ、傷心での里帰りなのだという。そんな話を聞いた農家の春夫(金子貴俊)は、気が気ではない。ずいぶん昔に律子に振られ、今も未練を残しているのだった。律子の親友･信代(小林きな子)は、傷ついた律子を心配する一方、これまで全く浮いた話の出ない春夫のことも気にかかり、ならばいっそのこと二人をくっつけようと思い立つ。信代の思いつきは、春夫の姪･サチ（福田麻由子）にも伝わり、母親（藤田弓子）まで作戦に加わることとなった。春夫の周りみんなで、春夫の恋を成就させようというわけだ。この作戦の中心にいるのは、町の若者の間で｢恋愛の神様｣と呼ばれる職業不詳の男（きたろう）だった。
