纪雅清（刘诗诗 饰），韩国旅游杂志编辑，韩国每天在都市丛林中疲于奔命，和未婚夫志远的感情也越来越索然无味。婚礼前夕，雅清替好友去云南普洱完成专题。到了普洱的纪雅清意外发现一个即将离世的台湾老人对初恋的思念，于是她决定改变选题，去追寻老人的初恋。许念祖（周渝民 饰），画家，潇洒帅气的他一直过着我行我素的生活，爷爷的去世让他认识到没有去陪伴爷爷的遗憾，他决心去完成爷爷的遗愿，踏上了前往爷爷家乡云南普洱的旅途。纪雅清和许念祖在普洱不期而遇，不打不相识的两人发现他们要找的竟是同一个人，于是携手踏上这段寻爱之旅。一路上，原本人生观、爱情观都完全不同的两人从摩擦不断到相互吸引，在共同见证了一段跨越时间空间的不渝爱恋之后，两人是否有勇气面对自己的感情……
